Beğendik (Botan) Bridge

The Beğendik (Botan) Bridge, inaugurated on July 11, 2020, provides safe and comfortable transportation between the Pervari district and the Bitlis and Van provinces in Turkey. It is Turkey's longest mid-span box girder bridge with a central span of 210 meters, constructed using a Balanced Cantilever system. The total length of the bridge, including its two side spans, is 450 meters.

With a height of 165 meters, the Beğendik (Botan) Bridge holds the title of Turkey's tallest bridge. This remarkable structure has reduced the distance between Beğendik and Pervari by 8 kilometers, resulting in savings in both time and vehicle operating expenses, contributing to Turkey's economy.

From its design to construction, the Beğendik Bridge is a testament to the effort of Turkish engineers and workers, as it employs 100% locally sourced materials.
