Project Detail

Ağrı-Hamur-Tutak-Patnos Road

The Ağrı-Hamur-Tutak-Patnos Road, which provides fast, safe, and comfortable access from Eastern Anatolia to Southeastern Anatolia, was opened to service on December 1, 2022.

The project, which provides a 2x2 divided highway standard, includes the construction of a 140-meter-long Murat-1 Bridge, a 150-meter-long Murat-2 Bridge, a 335-meter-long Tutak Viaduct, as well as 22 junctions and 109 culverts.

The travel time between Ağrı-Hamur-Tutak-Patnos, which used to be 60 minutes, has been reduced to 35 minutes, resulting in a 25-minute time savings. This not only enhances convenience but also leads to savings in time and vehicle operating costs, contributing to the country's economy.
