Project Detail

Eğiste Hadimi Viaduct

The Eğiste Hadimi Viaduct, which was inaugurated on November 26, 2022, provides a fast, comfortable, and uninterrupted connection between the Mediterranean and Central Anatolia regions. It consists of 8 central piers and 2 side piers, with heights ranging from 42 to 166 meters. It is Turkey's tallest-piered and longest cantilever bridge.

The viaduct, which is designed with two different bridge structures and has a dual road platform with a width of 12.5 meters, rests on the same foundation. It serves a total of 4 lanes of traffic, with 2 lanes for each direction.

With the fast and comfortable transportation services provided on this route, the Konya-Karaman int.-Belören-Hadim Road has become a more preferred alternative passage from Central Anatolia to the Mediterranean. This has facilitated the rapid transportation of regionally important products to both domestic and international markets. The project has reduced the length of the existing road by 4.4 kilometers, and travel time has been reduced from 56 minutes to 36 minutes.
