Phaselis Tunnel
The Phaselis Tunnel, located in the western section of the Mediterranean Coastal Road, which serves as the east-west axis connecting Antalya to the Aegean and Central Anatolia, was opened to service on April 16, 2022.
With the 1,292-meter-long double-tube Phaselis Tunnel, the traffic flow in the region has been significantly improved. It provides easy access to districts in the west of Antalya, such as Demre, Finike, Kumluca, Kemer, Kaş, and Kalkan, which are visited by millions of tourists every year.
