Project Detail

Ankara-Niğde Motorway

The Ankara-Niğde Motorway, constructed using the Build-Operate-Transfer model, comprises a total length of 330 kilometers, including a main route of 275 kilometers and 55 kilometers of connecting roads.

This motorway, fully opened to traffic on December 16, 2020, provides uninterrupted transportation along the Trans-European Motorway (TEM) network, which extends from Edirne, passing through Istanbul and Ankara, and continuing all the way to the Southeast, including the planned Şanlıurfa-Habur Border Gate section.

The opening of the Ankara-Niğde Motorway has significantly reduced the travel time between the cities of Ankara and Niğde, from the previous 4 hours and 14 minutes on the existing road to just 2 hours and 22 minutes.
