Şanlıurfa Çevikkuvvet Bridge Interchange
The Şanlıurfa Çevikkuvvet Bridge Interchange, which regulates urban and intercity transportation in Şanlıurfa, a city that is considered one of Turkey's and Europe's gateways to the Middle East and is at the center of the Southeastern Anatolia Project, was opened to road users on March 26, 2021.
The Şanlıurfa Çevikkuvvet Bridge Interchangeı is significant because it is located at the intersection of Şanlıurfa-Diyarbakır State Road, Şanlıurfa Northwest Ring Road, and Şanlıurfa East Ring Road.
The "full directional" intersection at the Şanlıurfa Çevikkuvvet Bridge Interchange separates urban and transit traffic, alleviating the traffic congestion resulting from the rapid increase in population, tourism, and commercial activities. This design ensures safe, comfortable, and uninterrupted traffic flow in the region.
With the elimination of stop-and-go waiting, the transit time at the intersection has been reduced from 5 minutes to 1 minute.
