Project Detail

Yenikent-Temelli Road

The Yenikent-Temelli Road, a 39.7-kilometer long 2x2-lane road with bituminous hot mix pavement, was designed to address the increasing transportation needs in the region due to the 8 industrial zones and new residential areas developed in Temelli, Sincan, and Yenikent in the western part of Ankara. The completed 29 kilometers of this road have been opened for use by the public.

The Yenikent-Temelli Road was constructed to facilitate fast and secure transportation among the industrial centers in the region and the main highway axes.

It provides direct access to the Temelli and Sincan Organized Industrial Zones without entering the city center, relieving traffic congestion.

The road forms a significant trade corridor connecting Southern Marmara, the Aegean, and Western Mediterranean regions via the Ankara-Eskişehir State Road, as well as Northern Marmara and Western Black Sea regions through the Ankara-Beypazarı-Nallıhan, Ankara-Istanbul State Road, and Ankara-Istanbul Motorway connections.

With the complete opening of the Yenikent-Temelli Road, it is estimated that an annual total savings of 183.7 million TL will be achieved, comprising 66 million TL in time and 117.7 million TL in fuel costs. This will also result in a reduction of 48,640 tons of annual carbon emissions.
