CLOSE MONITORING OF ROAD INVESTMENT: INTENSIVE WORK CONTINUES ON THE ÇEŞMELİ-KIZKALESİ MOTORWAY AND THE MEDITERRANEAN COASTAL ROAD

Director General of Highways Ahmet Gülşen inspected the ongoing works on Wednesday, July 8, at the Çeşmeli–Kızkalesi Section of the Çeşmeli–Erdemli–Silifke–Taşucu Motorway, which will extend Mersin's uninterrupted motorway network westward, as well as at the sections of the Mediterranean Coastal Road currently under construction.

Director General Gülşen first visited Çeşmeli-Kızkalesi Section construction site. Gülşen received a briefing from officials on the latest progress and evaluated the project's progress, the ongoing construction works, and the targeted work schedule.

Director General Gülşen then visited the Yeşilovacık-Aydıncık Section construction site of the Mediterranean Coastal Road. He inspected the ongoing works on site, and the activities being carried out to ensure the project is completed within the planned timeframe were discussed.

Gülşen inspected the ongoing Works on Aydıncık-Gözce Section and observed the construction works carried out along the route. The Director General evaluated the technical details of the project and its current stage of progress, and thanked the technical personnel working on site for their dedicated efforts, wishing them success in their work.

When the ongoing works on the Mediterranean Coastal Road and Çeşmeli-Erdemli-Silifke-Taşucu Motorway are completed, is expected to further enhance transportation standards in the region and provide safer, more comfortable and uninterrupted travel.
