PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN COMMISSIONED THE AYDIN CITY HOSPITAL AND ITS CONNECTING ROAD
The Aydın City Hospital and its connecting road provide safe and comfortable access to the hospital, it were commissioned with opening ceremony attended by President Erdoğan. The Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu, the Director General of Highways Ahmet Gülşen and many citiziens attended the opening ceremony.

Uraloğlu state that we have made a USD 355 billion investment in last 24 years “From Marmaray to the Eurasia Tunnel, from Istanbul Airport to the Yavuz Sultan Selim, Osmangazi, and 1915 Çanakkale Bridges; and from the İzmir-Istanbul, Ankara-Niğde, and Northern Marmara Motorway, we have brought landmark projects to life. We have expanded our divided road network from 6,101 km to 30,049 km." he said.
He referred that TÜRKSAT 6A was launched successfully, remarked that the work is ongoing for TÜRKSAT 7A. He said That the 5G tender has been won, the first signal will be received on April 1,2026 and it will be expand nationwide within two years.
He stated that they have carried out a collective inauguration of significant public investments, including the Aydın City Hospital Road, emphasizing that these projects will bring prosperity, comfort, and safety to every corner of the city. He noted that since 2002, approximately 111 billion TRY has been invested in the transportation and communication infrastructure of Aydın province. Within this scope, the length of divided roads has been increased from 114 kilometers in 2002 to 493 kilometers. He added, 'We have expanded our asphalt-paved road network from 89 kilometers to 467 kilometers, connecting Aydın to İzmir, Denizli, Manisa, and Muğla with divided roads.'
He expressed that the city has been integrated with the Aegean and Marmara regions through the İzmir-Aydın and Istanbul-İzmir Motorway, which has opened to traffic when it is completed which is 165 kilometer Aydın-Denizli Motorway, he highlighted that this route will extend from Denizli to Burdur and Antalya.
Uraloğlu stated that the road was opened to traffic that provides access to Aydın City Hospital, 'Today, we have opened the 5.5 kilometer Aydın City Hospital Road. We planned Dörtyol Junction together with our Metropolitan Municipality, we have held the tender. We will start to work in the next few days. In this context, we will complete a total of 5 junction.' He added.
