INSPECTION OF THE BOLU MOUNTAIN ROUTE BY DIRECTOR GENERAL OF HIGHWAYS AHMET GÜLŞEN
Director General of Highways Ahmet Gülşen visited the Bolu Mountain Tunnel Maintenance Department, Hendek Maintenance Department, and Bolu Branch Department, located along the Ankara–Istanbul corridor, one of the country's most important transportation axes, to receive information from officials about ongoing works.
Amid the intensifying winter conditions in recent days, Director General Ahmet Gülşen inspected snow-clearing operations in the region and met with personnel to evaluate the services provided. During the visits, plans for keeping the road open and safe, minimizing the impact of adverse weather conditions on drivers, and measures for snow removal, salting, ice control, and emergency response were discussed. Emphasizing the importance of keeping vehicles and equipment in a state of readiness, Gülşen stated that maintaining uninterrupted transportation on the route connecting Ankara and Istanbul, which holds a strategic position in the country's traffic network, is of great importance.
Gülşen said that Turkish General Directorate of Highways works devotedly to ensure a safe and comfortable journey for citizens. He extended his gratitude to all personnel for their hard work.
